Dear Athletes, Coaches, Officials and spectators :
I would like to welcome you to the 2007 Texas State Open Jr and Sr Taekwondo Championships. Texas has
Strong tradition of successful leadership in Taekwondo competitions at the national and international levels.
This year is not an exception. We are putting together a program to take Jr black belt winners to overseas
competition. The destination is Paris, France, Paris International Taekwondo Championship. The state
association will pay for the black belt competitors’ (14-17 yrs.)expenses.(air faire, hotel, meals, etc.)
I hope this will stimulate a bigger growth of Taekwondo in Texas and surrounding area.
I also would like to thank all the volunteers, referees and officials in making this championship possible.
I hope everyone will have a wonderful experience and much more.
